Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering and Biotransport Conference (SB3C)
June 4-8, 2023 – Vail, CO
QBiT had the opportunity to participate in the SB3C as a Poster Presenter for our Ultraportable ECMO and CogniGuard innovations.
Rice360 Annual Global Health Technologies Design Competition
April 21, 2023 – Houston, TX
We showcased our Ultraportable ECMO device prototype to Houston, Texas, on April 21st and competed in this design competition, placing as a Semi-Finalist!
Makers Making Change Design Sprint

QBiT partnered with Makers Making Change to hold a Design Sprint where students worked to design products catered to real patient needs.
Queen’s Women in Science and Engineering Workshop

QBiT had the opportunity to present our innovations to future female scientists and engineers at Queen's Women in Science and Engineering workshop. Some of our members discussed their interests in science and engineering with the goal of inspiring these young girls to pursue an education in STEM!

Queen’s Global Biomedical Design Conference

QBiT was involved in the development of the Queen's Global Biomedical Design conference. We help a workshop on Mental Health Disorders and Treatments to prepare students for the design competition that followed.
